The engraved plates of UR
"Un Roman de Tanger - La Guerre Nouvelle" (tip. Hispano, Arabiga, Tanger - 1951) is the title of the book written by the archeologist and author Renè Gau on the Engraved Plates found in Ur which are supposedly in the possesion of the political services of the USA. The plates were discovered in 1927 by Wooley and, if their authenticity is proved, they support the theses of Jirov e Agrest (Russians), Lucien Barnier, Louis Pauwels, Jacques Bergier, Robert Charroux (French) and Zecharia Sitchin (a Nasa consultant and scholar living in the USA).
The Wrintings of Gau
He describes all the marvelous history discovered by Woley, in 1927, in Chaldea (Sumer - now Iraq) about the famous tomb of the King of Ur. In the spring, the methodical research he carried on were bound to have an unexpected outcome...
As he excavated, Wooley found underneath a safe full of clothes a well which would eventually lead him to the King's tomb. Later, they cleaned another room where there were many precious objects, among them a standard having drawings picturing war scenes. Among other objects, one was dexterously stolen by one of the workers, who managed to take it away at the end of his work shift.
The correspondent of the London Museum, Professor Gerboult (it is suspected this is an alias of Professor Gau), also an American attaché, was lucky enough to find the stolen piece in an antique shop. The price was a holdup, but the USA bought it anyway. What did the stolen safe hold? Precious stones very finely worked and some jewelry having strange engravings: undecipherable symbols. Gerboult selected 12 gold leaves with pictograms from the collection, one of them showing a seven-pointed star 12 cm in diameter. What did the engraved texts read?
That the jewels were amulets coming from the Atlanteans, who were given them by beings who called themselves human, our brothers who came from faraway stars and arrived here, crossing sidereal abysses, on a flying ship.
Besides validating Plato's descriptions of Atlantis, the writings told about a people much superior to humankind, maybe originated from olher galaxies. Professor Gau says: "The report seemed completely different from that in the plates of Ur. One could say it was an explicative complement: it referred to the previously mentioned safe and two plans, which were explained. One of them pointed the way to High Egypt, to the hypogeum of the Atlantean kings, and the other pictured a star-shaped plan of the tombs of the thirty last Atlantean chieftains, the first and thirtieth of them were placed in the center and clearly marked over the flat star. The local seemed to be signaled by approximation, because the indications pointed it was thirty to twenty days of journey along the Nile. However, a place was mentioned. The gold plates also confirmed the coming to Earth, to Atlantis, of superior human beings, disembarked from the skies about 15,000 years ago."
-- Robert Charroux, the source of all that information, says those writings match the opinions and new concepts of scholars, biologists and "men of the interplanetary adventure". (1963).
